Governors
A Message from Nikki Webb
Chair of Governors
September 2024
We are extremely proud of everything that has been achieved in our school over the past year. In March 2023 we became a Foundation (Cooperative Trust) school and then in May we received a visit from OfSTED, who confirmed that we remain a Good school. They celebrated a number of key areas of our work and we were very proud of the outcomes, particularly their judgement of the inclusive nature of our school and our children's behaviour, which they described as 'impeccable'. Well done to everyone!
Our new Year 3 children have settled in very well. Many children in the year group endured a staccato time during their early Key Stage 1 years!
Over the past year the governing body have been very busy in and around school once again. The year was very busy, as we continued to work alongside Mr Howard and the senior leaders ensuring that our children, their academic as well as their social and emotional well-being remained at the core of everything.
One final thank you goes to you, the parents and families, for your continued support for your children and their school. During the forthcoming year, the work of the governing body will rightly concentrate on not only the bread and butter of teaching and learning, but also the welfare of our children and the entire staff team.
